Presbyterian Women of FPC Milledgeville

The Presbyterian Women of First Presbyterian Church Milledgeville

provides a space for women in the church to come together, build meaningful relationships, and support one another in their spiritual journeys. This group often organizes regular meetings, Bible studies, prayer sessions, and various activities that cater specifically to the interests and needs of women. The Presbyterian Women's group also engages in community service projects and outreach efforts.

Each month from September through May, the PW of FPC meet to discuss the Bible Study. There are different meeting times so that those who wish to meet on a weekday can do so. They meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 11:00 AM and the second Sunday of the month at 5:00 PM. This year, the PW of FPC are studying Let Justice Roll Down: God’s Call for Neighbors and All Creation.

PW of FPC also contributes money to pay for childcare for the Baldwin County Solicitor's Office program which helps women learn about domestic violence. The group also supports the work against domestic violence by participating in the yearly march the honors victims and a special worship service to remember those affected by domestic violence.

Once a year, the PW of FPC leads a worship service for a Thank Offering.
